I am a Senior Data Scientist at Groupon and former cosmologist whose research focused on probes of the “dark sector” — dark matter, dark energy, and possible modifications of General Relativity — so that we may answer questions such as: How did early fluctuations grow into the cosmic structures we see today? Why is the expansion of the Universe accelerating? Is Einstein’s theory of gravity correct on the largest scales?
